Patrick D. Boyle
Patrick D. Boyle is a business litigator at Skjold ▪ Barthel, where he serves businesses and their owners in complex commercial litigation including securities litigation, FINRA arbitrations, shareholder disputes, insurance disputes, labor and employment issues and contract cases. Boyle also has substantial experience in commercial real estate and real estate-related litigation.
Boyle’s experience encompasses bench and jury trials, evidentiary hearings, administrative hearings and arbitrations. At the appellate level, he has argued and written numerous appeals, briefs and motions.
Prior to moving to Minnesota and joining the firm’s litigation practice, Boyle practiced law with two prominent Chicago litigation boutiques and served as a clerk with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Boyle is licensed to practice in the State and Federal Courts of Minnesota and Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary, earning B.A. degrees in both history and english. Boyle earned his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a finalist in the Rovner Oral Argument Competition for Appellate Advocacy and a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Telecommunications Law.
